A pioneering light laboratory in Vic to explore how light transforms artwork
LedsC4 collaborates in the opening of a lighting laboratory in Vic linked to art, where artists experiment with the impact of light on their works. A completely innovative installation composed of 35 Atom projectors, specially designed with Tunable White and Casambi, allows adjusting the color temperature and light intensity on the artworks to customize them according to the tones, finishes, or sensations that are intended to be conveyed at any given moment.
The lighting and experiential laboratory in Vic, promoted by Miquel Boada, founder of the distributor Boada, was built in collaboration with LedsC4, which, in addition to providing products, advised on the design of the installation.
The laboratory opened its doors in February of this year, inviting four renowned local artists, all specialized in sculpture and acrylic painting, to experiment with the influence of lighting on their works.
