CDW is an international design festival that showcases brands and companies in a series of special events and exhibitions in a range of different venues in London’s vibrant Clerkenwell district. LedsC4 will be in attendance, presenting some of its best designs in the original Fabric Nightclub, which will be transformed into the festival’s Light meeting point. This iconic underground space was historically used to store foodstuffs from the famous Smithfield market.
LedsC4’s proposals for this international design event are as follows: Nude, a lamp designed by Nahtrang Studio that explores the beauty of a nude design; H, a contemporary expression of the classic table lamp with a conical shade; Mist, an ode to the simple beauty of the light bulb; Candle, a reinterpretation of the classic candelabra; Trip Glass, which connects its design to the unique lighting effect of glass; Glam, a design notable for its glamour; and Cocktail, the portable option with architectural lines, designed by Francesc Vilaró.
