Euroluce 2023, Milan

LedsC4 presents its new collections for 2023 at Euroluce on a spectacular sustainable stand with architectural lines created by interior designer Isern Serra.

Based on the concept of 'Light for better living', Isern Serra's design conveys the importance of the human factor and LedsC4's sustainability through its stand at Euroluce 2023: a warm, serene temple of light with architectural lines, circular openings and monochrome aesthetics.

Designed to attract and welcome visitors, it’s a tangible example of the company's commitment to sustainability, as it’s made with reused and recycled materials from previous stands and 100% of the collections have a recyclable structure.

LedsC4 is debuting its new identity in Milan and showing two new products for the first time – Quantic and Gong – together with other decorative and architectural lighting collections that mark the growth of one of the largest lighting companies in Spain.

[Barcelona, 17 April 2023] – This edition of Euroluce will be memorable for many reasons, including being the first post-COVID edition without restrictions. For LedsC4, it’s also an opportunity to show its new products to the international design community at the lighting sector's biggest international event. All with a staging that highlights how LedsC4 has evolved its offering of high-tech designer lighting, which improves and brings comfort and well-being to the spaces it illuminates.

LedsC4 has a new corporate identity, created by branding agency Mucho, graphic communication by designer Txema Hernández of HWO Studio, and a new brand claim: 'Light for better living'. The focus is on designing lighting that improves the architectural space and people's lives.

The stand, an architectural and conceptual design

Barcelona-native interior designer Isern Serra has divided the stand into two large areas (an indoor area with decorative and technical lighting, and an outdoor area for outdoor lighting) with a monochrome spirit that encompasses it all.

“The motto 'Light for better living' translates into a warm, serene, comfortable, more human space, just like a home. Each luminaire is displayed in a very real context in a simple architectural space, where we try to recreate an everyday familiar scenario where light creates corners and enhances the space it illuminates", says Isern Serra.

Built-in sofas and walls create an authentic temple of light using folds and circular openings. “The human factor is represented by the stand’s circular wooden core, as wood is the warmest material, a symbol of the human relationship, and it's also the point from which you can explore the other spaces.” Isern Serra concludes: "We also wanted to explore the relationship between the indoors and outdoors and how the stand looks from the outside, so, different architectural openings have been created through which the light filters and frames each luminaire."

LedsC4's physical attendance at Euroluce is also tangible proof of the company's commitment to sustainability, as the stand is made with 64% materials that have been reused and recycled from previous stands and because, after being dismantled in Milan, the pieces can be reused at a future event.

This sustainable conceptual pop-up architecture is the space that brings together its luminaires. All its new collections are based on environmental eco-design criteria: 83.3% allow for the drivers and LEDs to be replaced, and all of them have a 100% recyclable structure.

On 18 and 19 April at 12 noon, the stand will host Vermut&Lights, an event to introduce the company's new products, inviting attendees to enjoy a glass of vermouth while the new Quantic and Gong are presented alongside their designer Francesc Vilaró and stand designer Isern Serra, who was also the art director of the firm's latest photo shoots.

New products

Quantic: Created by Francesc Vilaró, a new lighting design concept with a spherical glass body available in three different finishes: transparent, sandblasted and black-tinged. In the middle of each sphere, there is a black, white or matte gold ring from which two wires are hung to suspend the light. This modular collection allows designers to create bespoke compositions and even has its own configurator.

Gong: Lighting and fabric, the perfect combination to bring warmth to spaces. This design features soft and simple shapes with lighting that allows you to choose between three colour temperatures, projecting a controlled comfortable light thanks to its micro-prismatic diffuser. The fabric of its shade, which allows the light to filter through, is available in a wide range of colours. This is a design that can be integrated with all kinds of projects: offices, shops, communal areas, homes, etc.

About LedsC4

LedsC4 has grown relentlessly in recent years and it closed 2022 with the best figures in its 50-year history. “For more than five decades we've created a corporate culture that combines a love for design with manufacturing and innovation in lighting while carefully considering every aspect,” said Xevi Corrons, the company's General Manager. “From a wrought iron workshop in Catalonia in the seventies to the company's present day as LedsC4, the origins of our firm demonstrate the talent, vision and perseverance of all those who form a part of it. Our history is one dedicated to light.” A good part of the credit for this continued growth goes to its innovative vision of the lighting industry, which stretches beyond the product, making the company a firm that offers smart lighting, control and connectivity services. “Connective lighting and advanced technical solutions make a project more sustainable and human, improving people's well-being.”
