LedsC4 lights up the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia
In September 2022, LedsC4 lit up the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, designing an ephemeral lighting facility for the gala dinner that took place in one of the most symbolic buildings by the architect Calatrava, the Hemisfèric building.
With Tron, a wall washer, the surface of the “Pearl” was illuminated vertically, achieving uniform lighting. The RGB version brought versatility to the project, adapting to creative needs. With the portable lamp Cocktail, the gala was accompanied by the perfect atmosphere and ambiences with different light points were devised.
By integrating light within the space, the architectural forms and volumes devised by Calatrava were sought out. Using the blue corporate colour of the event and playing with round elements like its rings and the “Pearl” (the central architectural element of the building, consisting of a 30-metre sphere), the project showcased the concept intended for the event, “building synergies between companies”, thereby creating a brand universe capable of turning the evening into an experience.
